  • CNET Scan & Shop – scan the barcode of an item and you can see CNET editor and user reviews, online and local prices, add the item to a wish list or set up a price alert.
  • ShopSavvy does essentially the same thing as the CNET but includes things that CNET doesn’t review like fingernail polish
  • Fandango – local movies times

  3. World Tour wallpaper app is phenomenal! It takes web cam shots from around the world and updates your wallpaper either every 30 min or by the hour. I’ve had shots of the earth from space, Cambridge at night, penguins in Antarctica, a crane’s nest in Germany, and a Japanese laundry to name just a few.

    For Star Trek fans…the Tricorder app is incredible….and really works.

    DoubleTwist is a free app that converts and syncs your iTunes library to your phone. Allow for a long sync time and works like a charm! Includes a widget too.
