Summer Reading List 2014 – What Are You Reading This Summer?

I opted to create my reading list for this summer on Pinterest. I like being able to see the covers and I think I’m more likely to add in start and finish dates as comments. I didn’t do a very good job of editing my post last year to add that information. I also didn’t stick to my list, but that’s summer reading for you!

What’s on your summer reading list?

  1. Overwhelmed is also on my list. (Ha. Might explain why I haven’t blogged in ages.) I keep an Amazon wishlist with titles that I will want to request from the library, so that I can get in and get out quickly if I manage to make it to the branch before closing time after I get off work.

Others on my list to read:
Everyday Bicycling: How to Ride a Bike for Transportation (Whatever Your Lifestyle)
    Frog Music
    The Power of One
    Fall of Giants
Inheriting the City: The Children of Immigrants Come of Age
On Their Own: What Happens to Kids When They Age Out of the Foster Care System
While Still There Is Light: Writings from a Minister Facing Death
    Battle Magic
Gooseberry Bluff Community College of Magic: The Thirteenth Rib
The Yonahlossee Riding Camp for Girls
    Ascension
Redesigning the American Dream: The Future of Housing, Work and Family Life
    The Midwife of Venice
Redfield Farm: A Novel of the Underground Railroad
    War Brides
    Wildthorn
    The Good Braider

  2. @Remy@MLISunderstanding Have you read Written in My Own Heart’s Blood yet? I have it but am afraid to start because I know it will end. Is that insane?

October is my month to pick for my book club and I haven’t selected anything yet. I desperately need lists like this. Thanks, Bobbie. I’ll be back to check out more from you soon. It’s great to connect with other booky bloggers!

  3. “The Secret Thoughts of Successful Women” is on top of my list. I haven’t got the book yet but I am planning to grab one at the end of this month. After reading it, I am thinking to write a review on it too. Thanks for the great list, now I have more idea which books I should look into.
