In case you missed the announcement I have changed my Twitter handle from @libarianbyday to @bobbinewman.
With my return to school and new adventures in political communication, policy, and of course some of the old – digital literacy, digital divide, broadband, and libraries I have been struggling with what to do about Twitter for some time. Librarianbyday no longer felt right. I haven’t worked in a library in over 2 years, though I do still work with libraries. I felt like I needed something that reflected the diversity of all my interests. I considered creating a new account, a separate account for other interests, but that just seemed complicated and time consuming. In the end I went with the simplest solution and one that reflects all my interests – just be me!
