My first session at MLA,  Collaborating in the Cloud by Robin, I’d heard so much about it I had to see it for myself.

adds distance option & time option across country or across continent

collaboration isnt just for others but also allows you to back up your own documents

peer networking don’t have to deal with hierarchies

• social bookmarking

• social wikis

• social documents

• groupware

bad thing about the cloud is that all info is outside the company firewall might not be so secure
