I wholeheartedly agree. Books are my best friends. I need them as much as I need my many cups of tea per day. For every issue/dilemma/drama in life, there is a book. I don’t want to go on gushing. Just. Thankyou!

Bobbi, I fully agree with you! I was 10 years old when my folks moved to a city where for the first time in my life, I visited a library with books! What a world of wonderful books I entered, something that has never lost it’s charms to the day. I remain a voracious reader, perhaps it is not surprising that I chose to become a librarian!

You took the words right out of my mouth! No really, I would not change a word. This is exactly the letter I would write if I could write as well or as eloquently as you do. I had forgotten about the times I had faked being sick so I could stay home and read. And the nights I used a flashlight under the covers so I could stay up and read after bedtime. Thank you.

Love Love LOVE your love letter… this reminds me of my love affair with books in my youth which has continued to grow and blossom over the years to an all out scandalous love obsession…
