I couldn't agree with you more. Last month my Canon Powershot started taking drippy looking pink pictures. Their excellent website indicated this was a known issue. I called Canon's customer service number, explained my issue and received the same day the shipping label to send it to them for examination and repair. The rep quickly identified the issue, and the camera was returned to me in like new condition within less than a week's time with no charge to me at all. I could not have been happier with the service I received. I've been a loyal Canon customer for more than twenty years and never had less than excellent service when it's been necessary (not often.)
